This is, after all, a publically accessible blog, so I don’t want to give away too much private information. Suffice it to say that on a day in 1928 (not saying which day exactly) was born an intelligent, good-natured conversationalist who has come to make all of our lives better and more interesting. While we don’t get to see him nearly often enough as he hides out in his undisclosed tropical location, it is always good to know that he is attending to the needs of the Burke matriarch and looking for interesting things to send us all.
John (seen here in a rare photo without his trademark dinner jacket and trousers) is a valued member of our family and I am looking forward to seeing him again soon.
Happy Birthday John!
